WALLINGTON (Oct. 29, 2009) — Canyon Hearth Grill celebrated its grand opening Saturday, Oct. 17 with a priest’s blessing, ribbon cutting and complimentary buffet. Located at 235 Paterson Ave. in Wallington, the Grill serves paninis, wraps, sandwiches, salads, soups, chili, hot dogs and hamburgers as well as an all-day breakfast menu of bagels, pancakes, French toast, burritos, baked goods and eggs. The mayor of Wallington later showed up to join in the festivities.

“It’s very exciting,” owner Leon Dimatos said. “It’s a new concept: It has a little bit of grill; it has a deli section, bakery section, ice cream section. Everybody’s gotten a lot of positive feedback.”
