 Schaer is looking for summer interns

Things to Do


(June 4, 2009) — The office of Assemblyman Gary S. Schaer is taking applications for internships to begin immediately or for the summer term. Duties include greeting constituents, working on constituent casework, drafting letters, assisting staff and helping put together and staff public events. Weekday hours and days are flexible. Residents of the 36th Legislative District, which includes Carlstadt, East Rutherford, Garfield, Lyndhurst, Moonachie, North Arlington, Nutley, Passaic, Rutherford, Wallington and Wood Ridge, are encouraged to apply. Please e-mail cover letter and résumé to Andrew Schwab, chief of staff, at aschwab@njleg.org. Must be 18 years of age or older.
