CDS

NORTH ARLINGTON — Michael Mcinerney, 30, of Kearny, was arrested Aug. 5 at 12:15 a.m. for obstructing justice, disorderly conduct, three counts of possession of narcotics (Suboxone, Alprazolam and Seroquel) and resisting arrest, while at  Molly’s Bar located on Ridge Road.  He was sent to Bergen County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

NORTH ARLINGTON — Guadalupe Reyes, 37, and a 16-year-old female, both of Union City, were arrested Aug. 4 at 6:44 p.m. at the CVS Pharmacy located on Schuyler Avenue. Police reported the juvenile was trying to obtain a fraudulent prescription (Oxycotin worth $8,000 if sold individually on the street) for Guadalupe, who was waiting in the car. Reyes was charged with attempt to obtain a prescription by fraud, fraud, use of a juvenile in a criminal offense and using a juvenile in attempting to obtain CDS by fraud. Reyes was transported to Bergen County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail. The juvenile was turned over to her parents with charges pending.

EAST RUTHERFORD — Aram Asgari, 29, of Rutherford, was arrested Aug. 5 at 2:04 a.m. for possession of cocaine, driving while suspended and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Route 120 North. Police reported Asgari had a warrant out of Paramus for $1,000 and East Rutherford for $250. Bail was set at $1,030 for the charges by East Rutherford. Asgari was released on summonses after posting $2,280.


DWI

NORTH ARLINGTON — Edwardo Dealmeida, 30, of Lyndhurst, was arrested Aug. 3 at 6:22 a.m. for DWI, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, having no insurance and possession of marijuana. He was released on summonses to a responsible party.

NORTH ARLINGTON — Pablo Borrajo, 30, of North Arlington, was arrested Aug. 4 at 1:48 a.m. for DWI and careless driving. He was released to a responsible party.

EAST RUTHERFORD — Amanda M. Graf, 25, of Rutherford, was arrested Aug. 4 at 3:23 a.m. for DWI, careless driving and speeding following a motor vehicle stop on Paterson Avenue. She was later released to a friend.

EAST RUTHERFORD — Fisnik Gashi, 19, of Bronx, N.Y., was arrested Aug. 9 at 3:30 a.m. for operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol by a person who is under the legal age to purchase alcoholic beverages and careless driving, following a motor vehicle stop on Park Avenue. He was later released on summonses to a responsible party.

EAST RUTHERFORD — Frances E. Reilly, 48, of Carlstadt, was arrested Aug. 10 at 12 a.m. for DWI, careless driving and refusing to submit to a breath test, following a motor vehicle accident on Hoboken Road. Reilly was later released on summonses to a responsible party.

EAST RUTHERFORD — Alejo M. Juvier, 43, of West New York, was arrested Aug. 11 at 3:41 a.m. for DWI, speeding and careless driving, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 3 West. Juvier was later released on summonses to a responsible party.


Theft

NORTH ARLINGTON — Heriberto Hernandez, 33, of Newark, and Rafael Hernandez, 36, of Kearny, were both arrested Aug. 1 at 3:45 p.m. for theft by deception. Police reported both men allegedly attempted to fraudulently obtain a furnace and an air conditioner unit worth a total of $4,200 from Connelly Distributors located on River Road, by claiming to be an employee of Metro Tech who was picking up the equipment. Both men were found to be lying and were arrested. Heriberto was released on summonses, and Hernandez was released after posting $399 bail for an outstanding warrant from East Rutherford.

RUTHERFORD — A black female was reportedly seen Aug. 4 at 12:45 p.m., stealing a total of $500 from two wallets left in a work cubicle on the sixth floor of a Route 17 North building.

RUTHERFORD — Montclair High School students reported that sometime between Aug. 6 and Aug. 7, someone stole two boat engines worth $5,400, from underneath the overpass of Route 3.

Theft from car

NORTH ARLINGTON — The owner of a 2005 Chevy Tahoe reported Aug. 4 at 8:20 a.m. that someone damaged the driver’s side door lock and stole $450 worth of items and several credit cards, while parked at Backstreet Bar & Grill located on River Road.

NORTH ARLINGTON — The owner of  a 2006 BMW reported Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. that someone entered through an open window and stole a gym bag containing his wallet and prescription for Endocet, while parked at Walgreens Pharmacy located on Ridge Road.

EAST RUTHERFORD — A resident from Cecil, Pa., reported Aug. 1 at 6:39 a.m. that someone smashed the passenger’s side window and stole $850 worth of items while parked at the Homestead Village on Route 3 East.

EAST RUTHERFORD — A resident from Montreal reported Aug. 7 at 11:51 a.m. that someone damaged the driver’s side door lock of her 2001 GMC Yukon and stole $4,000 worth of items and Canadian paperwork, while parked at the Homestead Village on Route 3 East.

RUTHERFORD — The owner of a Volvo reported that sometime between July 31 and Aug. 1, someone entered the car and stole $23,800 worth of GPS units, while parked on Howmedica Way.
