RUTHERFORD (Sept. 9, 2010) — Jan R. Kwapniewski, president of Coccia Realty, and Randolph Wine, vice president and manager of Coccia Realty Rutherford office, are pleased to announce that Beatrice “Bea” C. Goldberg, a Realtor-sales associate with Coccia Realty, Inc., was recently awarded the Accredited Buyer’s Representation (ABR) designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Council (REBAC) of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
Goldberg also completed the required curriculum and was awarded the Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource (SFR) Certification by the National Association of Realtors.
According to Kwapniewski, “the Short Sale and Foreclosure Certification that Bea has completed will aid her clients and is timely with the number of short sales occurring today,” he added.
“A short sale is a process when a homeowner’s mortgage amount exceeds the home’s value. Our agents, like Bea Goldberg, will try and negotiate with the homeowner’s lender to accept less than what is owed, allow the homeowner to sell and close on their home, with the balance of the mortgage to be forgiven.”
Wine stressed that “this important and timely certification that Bea has obtained increases her knowledge and workings of the short sale process. Coccia Realty does not charge any up-front fees to the short sale homeowner. Coccia Realty is paid by the lender only if the property closes.”
The Accredited Buyer’s Representation (ABR) will assist Bea to competently represent buyers as a buyers agent, if so asked by a purchaser.
Goldberg has been a full-time real estate practitioner since 2003.
She is a member in good standing with the National Association of Realtors (NAR), New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR), Real Source Board of Realtors, New Jersey MLS (NJMLS)and Garden State MLS (GSMLS).
Goldberg has won numerous awards for outstanding salesmanship.
She was also part of the 2010 Real Source Board of Realtors Nominating Committee; she is the current president of the Rutherford Civil Rights Commission and chairperson for the Rutherford Multicultural Festival Committee.
Goldberg is a 29-year resident of Rutherford, married to Len and has two daughters, Melissa and Michelle.
