 Rutherford High School Workshops and Counselor Visits

RUTHERFORD (Jan. 25, 2010) — All 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th graders and their parents/guardians are invited to attend Curriculum Night presented to you by the Rutherford High School Guidance Department at the Rutherford High School Auditorium Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. The course selection process will be discussed as well as a brief presentation from each subject matter. Important dates to remember will be given as well as a question and answer period. Your son/daughter will receive a Curriculum Guidebook 2010-2011. Ask your son/daughter to share it with you to discuss and then bring it to the workshop along with any questions you may have.

In February, RHS invites all juniors and their parents/guardians to attend Junior College Admissions Seminar Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m., in the RHS Auditorium. Topics to be discussed will include: post-high school plans, things to consider during the college search process, review academic record/credits, choosing courses for senior year, important dates to remember. Counselors will be available to answer questions.  

Every Wednesday night throughout the school year, (excluding the nights we are holding a workshop) all students, parents/guardians and alumni are invited to visit the guidance department to visit with a counselor. Counselors are in the office between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Please call the guidance office for an appointment.
