Dan is equally active in his time away from the office with Open Educator, Inc. of Columbia University; he is a member of the Advisory Board and the Board of Directors, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation; and a Race for the Cure participant in Northern New Jersey and New York City.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, reading, traveling and becoming involved in a multitude of philanthropic endeavors. Dan has been a lifelong resident of Bergen County and Hasbrouck Heights and a part-time resident of Ocean County.
