(Nov. 5, 2009) — Matilda (ID#74140) is an Australian keltie mix. She was abandoned outside the shelter with generalized hair loss. Matilda looks much better after treatment and we're sure she's more comfortable, too. About one year old, she weighs 36 pounds. She was slightly cautious during her evaluation, watching the tester uncertainly, but didn't show any aggression. Intelligent and active, Matilda needs work on socialization and lots of mental stimulation. She is easy to walk and is a fun loving dog. She needs an adult home, or possibly one with teens, that is willing to train and has dog experience.
