RUTHERFORD — The MOMS Club of Meadowlands will hold an Open House meeting on Thursday, Aug. 11 at 11 a.m., at the Rutherford Public Library.

The MOMS Club is an international support group for mothers who stay at home with their children, open to mothers and (dads) of all ages.

KEARNY — Grace United Methodist Church, 380 Kearny Ave., Kearny, will hold a Rummage Sale Monday, Aug. 15 to Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items will include household furnishings, adult/children’s clothing and infant furniture.

LYNDHURST — The Lyndhurst Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor the Lyndhurst Golden Bears Instructional Basketball Camp Aug. 15-19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Lyndhurst High School.

WALLINGTON — The Wallington Presbyterian Church will hold a Bible School from Aug. 15-19, 9 a.m. to noon. The program’s theme is “Gone Fishing” and is geared for children ages 3-12; there will also be an adult study program.

Classes will include Bible stories, fun, fellowship, daily refreshments, singing, crafts and more. For more information, call 973-779-2640.

WALLINGTON — The Wallington Senior Civic Center will sponsor an Atlantic City bus trip to Resorts casino on Thursday, Aug. 25. The bus will leave the VFW parking lot at 8 a.m.

NORTH ARLINGTON — An Evening Meal will be served at the Bergen County Nutrition Center, 11 York Road, North Arlington, on Friday, Aug. 26. Doors will open at 4 p.m.; bingo will follow dinner.

LYNDHURST — In an effort to inform all Sacred Heart School alumni of upcoming 50th anniversary celebrations, the committee is collecting names and addresses of all graduates (1959-2005) of Sacred Heart School.

LYNDHURST — The Lyndhurst Recreation and Parks Department will hold its second annual Bocce Bonanza on Saturday, Aug. 13 (rain date Aug. 20) at Town Hall Park, Pine Street and Tontine Avenue. The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and games will begin on the hour and half-hour.
